Alex Sanchez MSW, LSW Alex@springvalleycounselingservices.com
I work with adolescents, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, identity exploration, and major life transitions. I’m LGBTQ+ affirming, trauma-informed, and a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP). In therapy, I show up as a real human — empathetic, down-to-earth, and ready to hold space for whatever you’re carrying. I became a therapist because I care deeply about people feeling truly seen and supported, especially during the hardest times. You don’t have to go through pain alone — and you definitely don’t have to pretend to have it all together here.
I believe in normalizing mental health struggles and creating a space where you can be messy, honest, and fully yourself. I’m not here to “fix” you. I’m here to build a genuine, no-judgment relationship where you feel safe, understood, and maybe even laugh a little along the way.
Clients often tell me they appreciate that I’m both gentle and real — someone who can sit with the tough stuff and help you move forward, without pressure or pretense.
